Valentine's Day Nails

I used China Glaze “Always A Lady” as a base on all my nails and then used China Glaze “Heat Index,” “Life Is Rosy,” “Heart Of The Matter” and “Neon & On & On” to make the heart.

Julep Antoinette

This is one coat of Julep "Antoinette" over two coats of Butter London "Teddy Girl."

Julep Sugar Cookies Duo

This look was made using Julep's Sugar Cookies duo. The base is "Zora," and the glitter is "Clio."

Ruby Wing “Poppy” is a color changing polish. This did not work so well for me. By the time I was done taking these pictures it started peeling off. This is the same company that makes Color Club polishes so I was expecting more from it.

Julep Joy

Today's nail look is Julep's Joy. This smokey pink is so classic. I love it.

Polish Me Silly was previously known as Lush Lacquer.

Caviar Mani

Toady's post consists of three Ciate polishes. The base color is Cutie Pie, a semi- sheer pink. I applied one layer of Halo on to Cutie Pie to give the polish a glowy finish. On the accent nail I used the Ciate caviar beads in Prom Queen.

China Glaze United In Purpose, October 2012

This collection was new for Breast Cancer Awareness month 2012. It includes 12 new pink shades including two full coverage glitters.

The first polish I have to show is "Heart Of The Matter"a bright raspberry.

Next is "Live, Love, Laugh" a dark hot pink that leans neon. For this look I used a Revlon nail art stencil and "Always a Lady" for the skull.

This is "Always A Lady" with an accent nail in "Hello, Gorgeous!"

This next mani is "Hello, Gorgeous!" by itself. This is a cool toned baby pink glitter.

The last polish I have to show is "United" a warm pink with gold glitter.

Gold & Pink Gradient Nails

For my first blog post I wanted to feature a polish combination that I truly loved wearing. I started off with two coats of China Glaze's "Passion," a metallic gold.

I then took China Glaze's "Poetic," a metallic pink, and sponged it over the second half of the nail, concentrating the most polish at the tip. I wish I had taken a photo of how that gradient looked itself. It was very delicate and the metallic finishes on both of the polishes helped them flow together better than if i had been using cremes or mixing textures. I finished up my nails with a thin coat of China Glaze's "Angel Wings" which is a fine grain gold glitter with holographic pieces.

The holo in "Angel Wings" is very strong. The day I wore this look was too cloudy to capture the true beauty of the holo so I included the picture down below taken with flash to show it a bit better. Even in low lighting situations this glitter really shines.
