Better Than Sex Mascara

I recently won a twitter contest through Too Faced and received their new Better Than Sex Mascara. It is definitely my new favorite product. My lashes have never looked so good. 

Cynthia Rowley Palette No. 2

I recently purchased Cynthia Rowley Eyeshadow Palette: No. 2 from Birchbox.

This look was made using the shadows Cotton Candy and Licorice. The eyeliner is Sephora Black Lace and the Mascara is Too Faced Better Than Sex.
Apparently my contact had a huge tear in it.

This is the eyeshadows Marshmallow and Cloud. The eyeliner is Sephora Black Lace and the Mascara is Too Faced Better Than Sex.

The eyeshadows are Confetti and Licorice. The eyeliner is Sephora Sailor and the Mascara is Too Faced Better Than Sex.

Too Faced Summer Eyes Palette

The Too Faced Summers Eye Palette comes with three look combinations. This palette was re-released for Summer 2014 with the name Bonjour Soleil and with two new eyeshadows in the classic look. 

First up is the Day look.

I am really loving this melted lipstick by Too Faced. It lasts a long time, dries matte, and is very opaque. 

Julep Maven April Box

The Vivid Collection.

I went a little bit overboard with this months box. For the main items I went with the It Girl box. From top to bottom the colors are Maren, Flora, Bailey, & Felecia.

Maren is a bubblegum pink with blue shimmer. 

Flora is a bright magenta purple with blue shimmer. 

Bailey is a neon blue jelly. This is three coats over two coats of China Glaze "Snow."

Felecia is the special add-on polish for this month. It is a mint green cream with small black glitter speckles.

I got two blushes and a bronzer from this months collection too. From left to right are the blush in Peach Bellini, blush in Petal Pink, and the bronzer in Light Golden Bronze.These are very powdery. As you can see on the edges of the pans, a lot flakes off as soon as a brush touches it. Peach Bellini does not blend well, it looks a bit blotchy on my cheeks. Petal Pink, however, works really well. 

Too Faced A La Mode Palette

The Too Faced A La Mode palette for Summer 2014 came with three eye looks as most of their palettes do. 

First up is the Day look. I paired this with Lancome brown liquid liner and Julep espresso mascara. 

Next is the Classic Look. This was done with Sephora dark gray liquid liner and Too Faced Lash Gasm mascara. 

Last is a look created with the shadows from the Fashion Look. I didn't follow the directions because it was too tricky to use for me that shadow to make a cat eye. I paired this with Sephora dark gray liquid liner and Too Faced Lash Gasm mascara. 

Cynthia Rowley Eye Shadow Palette

The palette comes with five neutral shades, a deep chocolate brown, taupe, plum, pink champagne, and a soft, pale yellow. 

The first look I created with this palette was made by using the yellow shade across my lid and the plum to define the crease. I used Sephora's liquid eyeliner in Matte Navy Blue.

The next look was created using the pink champagne shade all over the lid, taupe in the crease and Sephora liquid eyeliner in Bag It.

The third look was made using the pale yellow across the lid, taupe in the crease, and Sephora liquid eyeliner in Dark Gray. The eyeliner on the lower rim of my eye is Julep's Charcoal Black.

Julep December Box

The nail polishes from left to right- Misti, Joelle, Gianna, Jillian, and Mia.

 First I have "Misiti" with the add-on glitter, "Gianna"

"Mia"- a metallic green

 "Jillian"- a deep burgundy with a brighter red shimmer

 "Gianna" over "Jillian"

I have not worn "Joelle" by itself yet, but here is the silver holographic glitter used in this glitter gradient I posted the other day. 

The beauty product this month was a neutrals eyeshadow palette. Mine came pretty damaged looking. :/

Julep November 3013

 Aisha- a red plum color. I'm such a sucker for these shades.

Autumn- a glitter with red and orange pieces of various sizes. 

 Charming- a sheer mauve lip gloss. 

Alexandra- described as a "blonde creme"

Cynthia- a fine grain sand glitter with gold pieces
