Julep "Max" is a black and white glitter made with glitter of different shapes and sizes. Here it is over Julep "Zora."

Julep Pop Up Store

 Last weekend I stopped by the Julep Pop Up Store in New York City. 

This is Julep "Empire," the Pop Up Store exclusive nail color. I would describe this shade as a rusty silver.

To make "Empire" more festive for the holidays I added two coats of Julep "Vivien," This is gold glitter in a clear base with gold shimmer.

China Glaze Red Holiday Nails

China Glaze "Ruby Pumps" is the classic holiday red polish jam packed with tons of red shimmer.

China Glaze "Pure Joy" is fine milled red glitter with larger gold glitter pieces. 

China Glaze "Foxy" a burnt red with a bronzy-gold shimmer.

 Color Club "Gingerbread" is a fine milled gold glitter with holo pieces. This polish really shines in the sun. It is definitely an attention grabber.Below are some samples of times when I have used this polish as an accent nail.

Julep's "Joelle" is a silver glitter with holographic pieces. Below is a blurry photo to show the way the holo shows in person.

I have not worn "Joelle" by itself yet, but here is the silver holographic glitter used in this glitter gradient I posted the other day. 

The beauty product this month was a neutrals eyeshadow palette. Mine came pretty damaged looking. :/

Snowflake Nails

I started this look with three coats of Orly's "Au Champagne." I love this white. It has the perfect amount of shimmer to it that makes the polish not seem so stark like many white polishes can. 

Next I applied Julep "Joelle" with a make up sponge for a gradient like affect; concentrating most of the glitter by the tip of my nails. Lastly, I applied one coat of Femme Fatale Lacquer "Look At All The Pretty Snowflakes."

For my studio’s holiday party all the girls had wreath crowns and the men had boutonnieres so that people would know that we worked there. It was a huge event with 400+ guests. I had to share this because I absolutely loved the look of the wreath and how my hair turned out. One of the girls at the studio did it for me.
