China Glaze Aluminate

I used China Glaze "Aluminate" on my two middle fingers and Julep "Cleopatra" on the rest of my nails to get this look.

Jewelmint

This is the rose gold "Kitty's Ring" from Jewelmint. I thought it was too cute not to share.
I have Julep "Betty" on my nails in the picture.

China Glaze Nail Art

To achieve this look I used China Glaze "Pelican Gray" & "CG In The City." I then made the bird using a Milani striper in "Black Sketch".

China Glaze Life Is Rosy ft. Julep Love

today I have China Glaze "Life Is Rosy" with accent nails using Julep's "Love." I absolutely adore this combination and will for sure wear this again.

I paired this look with a new Jewelmint ring "Cupid's Arrow." I am loving all the rose gold pieces that Jewelmint has been releasing lately.

China Glaze City Flourish

Lotus Begin- a lavender purple creme. I love how bright this pastel shade it. This is definitely an attention grabber.

Strike A Rose- hot pink that leans towards red. There is supposed to be shimmer in this polish, but I didn't see it on the nail in person or in the photos.

At Vase Value- a bright pastel mint blue creme.

Spring In My Step- a pastel light pink creme. I apologize for the poor quality of this photo. New York was hit with yet another snow storm when I wore this so the sun never really made an appearance.

Petal To The Metal-a coral that leans towards neon. Who doesn't love shades like these?

Julep February 2014

My picks from Julep's February box. I chose the It Girl box and really loved the selection that they had this month. From left to right the polishes are Love, Diamond Theory, Glam Roc, Roc Solid, & Goldie.

Love is a soft gold duochrome with hot pick scattered glitter pieces. It is absolutely gorgeous and probably one of my favorite polishes of all time.
Diamond Theory is a bronze glitter that is made from a combination of small and medium sized glitter pieces of the same shade.

Roc Solid is a forest green creme.

Glam Roc is an eggplant matte texture polish with silver flecks. I was super excited to see Julep do a dark texture polish like this one. So good.

Goldie is a rather intense, bright shade of yellow gold. I am looking forward to trying out gradients and other nail art techniques with this polish.

Valentine's Day Nails

I used China Glaze “Always A Lady” as a base on all my nails and then used China Glaze “Heat Index,” “Life Is Rosy,” “Heart Of The Matter” and “Neon & On & On” to make the heart.

Julep Antoinette

This is one coat of Julep "Antoinette" over two coats of Butter London "Teddy Girl."

Julep February 2013

Today's post is a bit of a throw back to last years Julep February box. This box remains one of my favorites to date.
Joan is a raspberry polish with gold flakes.
Sally is a pale yellow creme. This is the only shade of yellow that I feel comfortable wearing on my nails.
The product that came in this months box was the Oxygen Nail Treatment and Freedom Polymer Topcoat. The nail treatment works wonders. My nails were so stained before using this, The picture above shows how they looked after only two days of wearing this. The top coat also remains one of my favorites.

Iron Man?

I tried out some tape nail art and may have accidentally created an Iron Man look. For this I used China Glaze's "Passion," "Stroll," & "Liquid Leather."

China Glaze Pizzazz

This is four coats of the glitter on its own.
One coat sandwiched between China Glaze "Heat Index"
Two coats over China Glaze "Concrete Catwalk"
Three coats hastily placed over China Glaze "Liquid Leather" just to get an idea of how this look would turn out.

Polish Addict Metal Princess

This is two coats over China Glaze "Snow." I'm a heavy metal girl myself, so buying this polish was pretty mandatory. The white base doesn't speak to me as being very metal, so next time I will be experimenting with different base colors.
