Snowflake Nails

I started this look with three coats of Orly's "Au Champagne." I love this white. It has the perfect amount of shimmer to it that makes the polish not seem so stark like many white polishes can. 

Next I applied Julep "Joelle" with a make up sponge for a gradient like affect; concentrating most of the glitter by the tip of my nails. Lastly, I applied one coat of Femme Fatale Lacquer "Look At All The Pretty Snowflakes."

For my studio’s holiday party all the girls had wreath crowns and the men had boutonnieres so that people would know that we worked there. It was a huge event with 400+ guests. I had to share this because I absolutely loved the look of the wreath and how my hair turned out. One of the girls at the studio did it for me.

Julep "Crystal" over Color Club "Poetic Hues"

When applying Crystal it is best to do so by dabbing it on to the nail. It is important when dabbing to have the right amount of polish on the brush. Too much polish can leave air bubbles and not enough will leave the surface uneven. My middle finger is an example of what happens when you try to paint Crystal on. The glitter clumps and overlaps. 

Glitter Accent Nails

Glitter Accent Nails are a fun way to spice up a look. The idea behind the singular glitter nail is to add a pop of bling similar to how a fun costume jewelry ring would. 

Maybelline Lavish Lilac

There is so much dimension to this polish. It is a deep lilac base with a gold shimmer, pink and blue small glitter, and larger purple glitter pieces.
