Liquid Sky Lacquer

Today I have some fall polishes to share from the indie brand Liquid Sky Lacquer.

 Caramel Apple is a thermal polish. The above photo is in warm temperatures.

 Pumpkin Pie is a holo, it was very cloudy that day so I could not get a great shot of it. This is in day light. I promise the holo is really there though.

Julep Kayln

The polish I have to share today is Julep "Kayln." It has a jelly finish and still has a visible nail line after three coats. 

China Glaze Dare to be Bare

China Glaze "Dare to be Bare" is a peach polish with gold shimmer.

This is two coats of Nails Inc "York" over Julep "Clara"

Julep Adele

Today I have Julep "Adele" over China Glaze "Magical" to share. This is a gold/bronze flakie polish. I used two coats of "Adele" to achieve this look.

Glitter Sandwich

Today I have a glitter sandwich to share.

To get this look I first started with a foundation color of Julep "Cassie" I followed this with one coat of Polish Me Silly "Snow Angel" and then topped it off with two coats of Julep "Carol" to get the jelly finish effect. 

Polish Me Silly was previously known as Lush Lacquer.

 Sugar Rays- a warm gold to pink duochrome

Apollo Star- a warm toned silver glitter polish.

Poetic Hue- a clean cream tinted creme polish

Fall Gradient

Today I have a fall inspired gradient to show. To achieve this look I started off with Julep "Otte," next I sponged on OPI "You Don't Know Jacques" followed by OPI "I Brake For Manicures." I topped off this look with one coat of China Glaze "Luxe & Lush"

Color Club Girl About Town

Today I have my picks from Color Club's Girl About Town collection for Fall 2013.

Pearl District- a green toned warm gold

Williamsburg- A dark navy base with royal blue shimmer

The Uptown- a flakie polish suspended in a royal purple jelly base

China Glaze Agro & Cleopatra

Today's look is a tape mani using China Glaze "Agro" and "Cleopatra." Cleopatra is a yellow gold glitter with slightly larger green glitter pieces. If you look very closely you can see them in the picture. They are more visible in person.

Orly Secret Society

Today I have my picks from Orly's Secret Society collection for Holiday 2013.

 Voyeuristic  Adventure- this is two coats on its own. This polish is such a soft, cool toned gold. 

 Lavish Bash- this is two coats over Voyeuristic Adventure. This glitter consists of fine grain gold glitter as well as small circular and bar holographic glitter. 

Whats The Password?- this is a metallic orange with gold shimmer. I am in love with this polish. I received many compliments while wearing this.

Macabre Mascaraed- This is an awful photo. Haha. This polish is incredibly hard to photograph. In person it is a beauty that is made to impress. The base color is a deep royal blue with multicolored small glitter pieces. 

Masked Ceremony- This is two coats over black. It is difficult to get those fuchsia glitter pieces to show up. 

China Glaze Velvet Bow ft. D&R Apothecary Precious Metals

Today's look was made with China Glaze "Velvet Bow" and D&R Apothecary "Precious Metals." This look was made with two coats of each of the polishes. "Precious Metals" is a glitter that consists of gold, silver, and copper pieces of all different sizes.

Orly Purple Velvet

Orly Purple Velvet is a re-release for Fall 2013. This is a matte polish with a very velvet like finish that is true to its name.

China Glaze Autumn Nights

Today I have my picks from China Glaze's Autumn Nights collection for Fall 2013.

Strike Up A Cosmo- a metallic rosy pink with gold flakes

 Goldie But Goodie- a warm rusty gold metallic

 Gossip Over Gimlets- A silver metallic with gold flakies. I love the attention to detail that China Glaze put into these metallic polishes. It makes them really stand out against other similar colors.

 Rendezvous With You- an eggplant metallic

Tongue & Chic- an emerald foil with a distinct blue undertone

Subtle Glitter Gradient

For this look I used China Glaze "Gold Digger" and "Hello, Gorgeous." In order to achieve this look, paint your nails with a polish that will be your foundation color. For me, the foundation polish was the gold glitter. Next, rip off a piece of a make up sponge and dip it into your gradient polish. This is best done using a small piece of the sponge and handling it with a pair of tweezers. When first applying the gradient polish you will want to dab off any of the access polish to ensure that it will not over power the foundation polish. Go over your nails as many times as needed to achieve the desired effect by moving further down your nail with each coat.
